Taylor TacklesThe Alfred State football program has proven itself as very competitive team in the Northeast. The Pioneers have finished .500 or above in five of the past eleven seasons. 

In 2010, the Pioneers played an exciting and competitive brand of football and finished 4-6.  The team had 10 players named All-Conference.

For the second year in a row Mick Caba and the Alfred State College football team will host a bone marrow drive in support of the Be the Match Registry.  This year's event will take place on Wednesday April 6th between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. in the Student Gathering Place in Central Dining Hall.

Sir Aaron Taylor (West Chester/Lincoln Hall) will continue his academic and athletic collegiate career at Youngstown State.  Taylor a second team NJCAA All-American is the third Pioneer in the past ten years to sign with the Penguins.

Alfred State College quarterback Cody Scepaniak (Vestal) has signed and is enrolled this spring at Northern Michigan University.  Scepaniak will compete for the starting quarterback job this spring and fall for the Wildcats.
